It has been the constant endeavor of UD, RTU to incorporate the features of the excellence in its campus. Every effort is made to improve the existing practices in all fields of studies. State of art lush green campus is located on the outskirts of Kota on the banks of the Chambal River. It is spread over 385 acres (largest campus in Rajasthan), which can be judged by the fact that it is having 7.5 km of road within its campus and having a total built-up area of 54,000 sqm. It comprises office, workshops, laboratories and gymnasium. Campus amenities include fully Wi-Fi enabled facility, banks, ATM, post office, dispensary and gathering ground. The college has developed its own app “UD Notice” for proper regulation of official notices and bulletins. Recently new hostels, lecture theatres, computer center and department blocks have been added to the campus’ infrastructure.
The library is integrated knowledge resource centre supporting all aspects of studies and research. There are a total of 97440 course books, 43 national journals & 9975 e-journals of all streams. Aside from this, there is a digital corner as well as magazines are available to all students at all times.
The college offers ample opportunities to students for regular workout and lifestyle management by providing a host of excellent sports facilities. There are three indoor badminton halls, football ground, cricket ground, basketball, volleyball court and a well built gymnasium which is open at all times with proper equipments and sports gear.
The campus has an array of eating joints, satisfying every taste. All cafeterias have menus that are well curated keeping in check the healthiness and nutrient quotient of the food. Also managing a clean and healthy kitchen and dining place.
The campus has spacious, amphitheatre style classrooms that provide a conducive atmosphere for dynamic and focused learning. These classrooms have been designed to bring together analysis with action. Their built style increases the opportunities for teacher to student interactions. They are well lit and ventilated with sturdy desks to provide a comfortable learning experience
UD, RTU has always been at the forefront of utilizing IT in making learning informative and effortless. The entire campus is connected through Wi-Fi including the library and the hostels. The labs are well equipped with instruments and an efficient technical staff for constant guidance.
The college has developed its own app “UD Notice” for proper regulation of official notices and bulletins. The app was developed by the student body with proper mentorship by teachers.
RTU offers comprehensive hostel facilities for students within the campus. There are four boys’ and two girls’ hostels with amenities like mess facilities, recreational facilities, board games, Wi-Fi etc. Residential quarters for teaching and non-teaching staff are also the part of campus along with a luxurious guest house.
