B.Tech. Programme

The admission to various branches of B Tech programmes is conducted by REAP (Rajasthan Engineering Admission Process), a coordination body for admission to B Tech/B Arch in Rajasthan. The Class XII pass out students or Diploma in Engineering and Technology (10+3)can apply for admission to University Departments(UD), RTU, Kota (Formerly Engineering College Kota/University College of Engineering Kota) through REAP. The candidates from outside Rajasthan can also apply through REAP for admission against 15% seats.

Eligibility: Class XII or Diploma (10+3) in Engg & Technology, with at least 45% marks (with 5% relaxation to reserved category as per Govt of Rajasthan rules)

B.Tech. (Lateral entry in II year)

The diploma pass out candidates can directly get admission to II year of B Tech programme in appropriate discipline. They are required to apply through LEEP (Lateral Entry in Engineering Program), a body for centralized admission of Diploma pass outs. The notification for admission is advertised in the month of June/July every year.

M Tech Programme

The admission to various M Tech programmes is conducted by CAM (Centralized Admission for M Tech/M Arch), a coordinating body for M Tech admissions. Every GATE qualified candidate is entitled for MHRD scholarship of Rs 12400 per month. There are twelve M Tech programmes being run by university departments, RTU, Kota.

MBA Programme

The admission to MBA programme in the university department is conducted by RMAP (Rajasthan Management Admission Process), a coordinating body for MBA admissions. The candidates can directly contact the office of MBA department in RTU campus for admission process.

Ph D Programme

The Ph D admission process is conducted by RTU DAT (RTU Doctoral Admission Test) whose notification is advertised in the month of June/July every year.
