Rajasthan Technical University is committed firmly to foster the technical education, development of new knowledge and technical innovation for the benefit of citizen in the state of Rajasthan and the nation. It aims to achieve the much sought after self reliance for our country in the cutting edge fields of technical expertise especially in areas of Aeronautical Engineering. The creative ideas, innovations, and discoveries of its faculty, researchers, students and technical staff, and the subsequent transfer of those ideas to use through extension services, training and civil and defence applications, are critical components of the Universitys mission and its commitment. To fulfil this aim the University College of Engineering (UCE), which is a constituent college of Rajasthan Technical University, Kota has introduced B.Tech. program in Aeronautical Engineering from session 2011-12. UCE is the first Engineering College of Rajasthan to introduce the Aeronautical Engineering branch. The present intake of the student in the Aeronautical Engineering branch is 30 (thirty). Efforts have been made to seek cooperation from the various government institutions/agencies such as Indian Air Force, Hindustan Aeronautics Limited, National Aerospace Laboratory in setting up of the infrastructure and laboratory for the newly introduced Aeronautical Engineering branch.
