Petroleum Geology, Petroleum Geochemistry, Thermal maturity of source rock/coal, Depositional Environments of Bio-sedimentary rocks, Hydrocarbon Generation Potential and Organic Geochemistry of source rocks. Biomarkers and carbon isotopic study. Advanced Source Rock Characterization through spectroscopic techniques (FTIR, Raman, XPS etc.). Organic Petrography and coal geology, Shale Gas, shale Oil and CBM, Formation Evaluation (Well logging Technology).
