B Tech programme in “Petroleum Engineering” was started with an intake of 30 in 2011-12. This programme is upstream oriented, i.e. it focuses on the domain of Exploration to Production of Hydrocarbons. Another B Tech programme on “Petrochemicals”, with 30 intake, was opened in 2013-14 focusing on “Downstream”, area.
